Russia & CIS Airlines
Silk Way West Airlines has put its first Boeing 777F into service, using it on flights to Istanbul.

The B777F replaces the Boeing 747-400F which was operating the route, providing more efficient and environmentally-friendly services.

Using the twin-engine B777F contributes to Silk Way West’s sustainability goals and reduces emissions.

The airline says the aircraft strengthens its position in the global air cargo market and marks a step in efforts to expand Silk Way West’s international network.

Vugar Mammadov, Vice President of Silk Way West Airlines, says, “We are immensely proud to witness this momentous occasion as our new aircraft, the Boeing 777F, stretches its wings for the first time.”

“This marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for our airline, as we continue to uphold the highest standards of safety and reliability while embracing the evolving landscape of cargo transportation. I am confident that our fleet renewal and expansion will further strengthen the company's leading position in the global airfreight market for the next 15-20 years.”
