Using the payment and booking platform from WebCargo by Freightos, freight forwarders have access to real-time prices and bookings.

The partnership gives freight forwarders access to sought-after destinations across the Asia Pacific region including Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

Digital bookings are increasing across the Asia Pacific region with numbers more than doubling on WebCargo’s platform between Q4 of 2022 and Q4 of 2023, and numbers are expected to increase further with the addition of Singapore Airlines’ capacity.

Marvin Tan, Senior Vice President Cargo of Singapore Airlines, says, “Singapore Airlines’ partnership with WebCargo expands our reach to new markets, and provides our customers with a seamless user experience when they search, book, and track their shipments in real time. This enables us to better serve our customers by responding even more swiftly to their evolving needs.”

Welcoming Singapore Airlines to the platform, Manel Galindo, Chief Revenue Officer of Freightos, says, “Their commitment to digital innovation aligns perfectly with WebCargo's mission to provide seamless and efficient booking solutions for the air cargo industry and allows us to double down on the recent surge in bookings from Asia.”
