TAP Air Cargo integrates Cargospot and SKYPALLET

TAP Air Cargo and Wiremind Cargo have advanced their partnership by integrating SKYPALLET with Cargospot from CHAMP Cargosystems.

SKYPALLET has been embedded in TAP’s capacity optimisation process by implementing an API integration between SKYPALLET and Cargospot Airline.

The integration means TAP Air Cargo staff can automatically transfer air waybill data for flights from Cargospot to SKYPALLET for shipment evaluation and flight planning.

Users can see an immediate optimisation of their flight plans including loading checks, segregation, T-ULD and other features.

Cargospot remains the source of truth for later changes, which are reflected in SKYPALLET.

Removing the need to manually input data into SKYPALLET will reduce the time to plan and release a flight from 15-30 minutes without a tool like SKYPALLET to seconds.

Nathanael de Tarade, CEO of Wiremind Cargo, says, “The ability to integrate our solutions seamlessly into customers’ existing software is a product priority for us at Wiremind Cargo, to help unlock process efficiencies and maximise the useability of our solutions.”

Rita Rosario Garcia, Product and Service Director at TAP Air Cargo, adds, “It was always our plan to integrate SKYPALLET with our cargo reservation system, Cargospot, since we engaged Wiremind. Both systems were API ready and there is always a step change in benefits when you are able to support a business process with a seamless technical integration.”
