The Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) will be holding its virtual conference from 8-12 November, a free of charge event for freight, logistics and supply chain specialists.

The event is organised by the EMEA region and features three-hour daily sessions with experts discussing challenges for shippers and their freight transport and logistics providers after two challenging years for supply chains.

Presentations will start at 11.00 CET until 14.00 and over 850 delegates have already confirmed their intention to participate.

Day one will open with a presentation from Brendan Sullivan, Global Head of Cargo at IATA looking at “Air cargo: challenges of the pandemic and lessons learned”.

There will also be presentations about ocean freight and road transport, and the other days will have presentations from experts from companies including Amazon, McKinsey & Company, and several others.

Among other subjects, presentations will include supply chain resilience, Covid-19 vaccine distribution, cargo theft and high-risk routes.

Thorsten Neumann, President and CEO of TAPA EMEA says: “As this is such a game-changing time for all concerned, we are pleased to be able to offer this unique and free of charge opportunity for freight and logistics providers and supply chain specialists in manufacturers and other connected sectors to join us to listen to the outstanding group of presenters we are bringing together.”
