TIACA welcomes six new members to Board of Directors

The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has welcomed six new members to the Board of Directors, representing the airport, airline and handling sectors.

The new members are Kai Domscheit of CHI Deutschland Cargo Handling, Dan Sheehan of UPS, Tushar Jani of Cargo Service Center India, Kamesh Peri of Celebi Ground Handling, Roos Bakker of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Massimo Roccasecca of SAVE Group.

Steven Polmans, Chairman of TIACA says: “With the appointment of the six latest Members, we have continued our commitment to expand the Board of Directors across the industry sectors to ensure every sector’s view is well represented within the group. We look forward to the perspective and experience that each of these Board members will bring to the table.”

Each new member brings with them extensive experience from across the supply chain.

Domscheit is CEO of CHI, with offers forwarding and handling, trucking and security services at Frankfurt Airport.

Sheehan, Director of Industry at UPS has held various management positions at UPS since 1995 and represents the company on numerous industry committees and associations including IATA and Airlines for America. He has been a TIACA Trustee member since 2010.

Jani has over 40 years of industry experience and co-founded Blue Dart Express in 1983. He also co-founded Blue Dart Aviation, the first private air cargo carrier in India and is actively involved in India’s aviation industry.

Peri took up the role of CEO Delhi Cargo at Celebi Aviation in March 2021 and has over 30 years of experience, starting his career at Lufthansa Cargo in 1990.

Bakker is Director of Business Development at Schiphol Cargo, spending the last four of her 16 years at Schiphol Group working in cargo.

Roccasecca is Group Cargo Director at SAVE Group, which operates Venice, Verona, Brescia and Treviso airports. He has over 30 years of industry experience.
