
The 3 aircraft will be on long-term dry leases bringing Titan Aircraft Investments’ freighter fleet to 10 aircraft, 5 of which are 767 converted freighters.
The first delivery is due later this month with one more planned for later this year, and the third following next year.
Michael Steen, President and CEO of Titan Aviation Holdings and Chief Commercial Officer of Atlas Air Worldwide, says, “We are honoured that Ethiopian Airlines recognises our industry and technical expertise and has placed its trust in Titan.”
Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group, adds, “This dry lease agreement will be fundamental to our fast growing cargo operation as Ethiopian is a key global player in the air cargo business. We are glad about the partnership with Titan Aircraft Investments to enhance our capacity with 3 more B767 converted aircraft in addition to the existing 9 widebody freighters and 4 B737 converted aircraft.”
