Tive joins Cool Chain Association

The Cool Chain Association (CCA) has welcomed Tive, a real-time tracking company, as a new member.

Boston, USA-based Tive has developed trackers that transmit real-time shipment data across all modes, including temperature and humidity readings.

Its single-use and multi-use trackers can stream location and condition information for food and perishable shipments.

Stavros Evangelakakis, Chairman of CCA says members are looking for new ways to improve temperature-controlled supply chains and Tive’s knowledge and experience will help them achieve those goals.

He says, “Our membership has been steadily growing over the last few months and we are excited to welcome a new member, who brings different skill sets to share with our community.”

Blerta Lataj, Referral Partner Manager at Tive, adds, “Having accurate, real-time temperature tracking helps companies manage and maintain their stability budgets. Real-time, hyper specific location tracking is Tive’s bread and butter, and this service is vital for managing time-critical shipments.”

The CCA has launched a Technical Committee bringing together experts from different fields to tackle temperature-controlled supply chain issues.

Its Risk Management Committee will host a roundtable discussion at the CCA’s Annual General Meeting and perishables summit in Rome, Italy on 6th and 7th July.
