Tower Cold Chain expands footprint following acquisition

Pharma
Tower Cold Chain has expanded its global footprint with new regional hubs following its acquisition by Cold Chain Technologies (CCT).

Their combined resources means customers benefit from a hub network of three Centres of Excellence and 54 regional hubs in 26 countries.

Ahead of the acquisition, Tower Cold Chain has launched hubs in Toronto and Ahmedabad.

Tower’s presence in South America and Asia-Pacific has been strengthened by CCT’s infrastructure, which gives customers access to solutions combining Tower’s reusable containers and CCT’s single-use packaging options.

The acquisition strengthens CCT’s presence in EMEA where Tower is well established.

Their network boosts logistical efficiency and advances sustainability goals by reducing idle time and minimising transport distances for reusable containers.

Niall Balfour, CEO of Tower Cold Chain, says, “This development not only enhances our reach but also reinforces our commitment to delivering high-performance, temperature-controlled solutions with both global scalability and local expertise.”
