UPS adds next-day deliveries between Asia and Australia

UPS is speeding up deliveries between Asia and Australia with new flights between Sydney and Shenzhen.

The services between its intra-Asia hub in Shenzhen and Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport means shipments from across several Asian countries can be delivered to Australia as early as the next business day.

UPS customers in Australia can have deliveries across Asia Pacific and to Europe completed as early as the next business day.

Wilfredo Ramos, President of UPS Asia Pacific, says, “Faster delivery can make all the difference for businesses looking for a competitive edge. With growth expected in industries such as high tech, manufacturing and healthcare over the next few years, we're the logistics partner businesses can rely on to help them capitalise on this.”

UPS says the improved delivery times apply to shipments picked up from Wednesday to Friday and include all states except Western Australia.

Next business day delivery from Australia applies to shipments picked up on Fridays and also excludes Western Australia.
