UPS doubles size of Clark Airport hub

UPS has increased capacity in the Philippines by doubling the size of its package sorting hub at Clark Airport.

Doubling the size of the Clark Airport hub allows UPS to process up to 30% more packages per hour and more customers in the Manila area will be able to receive deliveries via UPS’s Worldwide Express service several hours earlier than before.

Pickup times for local export businesses will be extended to give them more time to process orders.

Russell Reed, Managing Director of UPS Philippines says that e-commerce is one of the biggest cross-border trade opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses in the Philippines.

He says, “This expansion to our Clark hub allows us to process more import and export shipments every day and to process them faster. It's the latest example of how we're working to enhance the services we offer to our customers so that they can process more orders, reach more of their customers and stay more globally competitive.”
