WebCargo provides insights with Airline Dashboard

WebCargo by Freightos has launched Airline Dashboard to provide critical insights into demand patterns and pricing.

The dashboard offers airlines nearly real-time data generated by analysing tens of thousands of monthly eBookings.

It provides general industry data including the Freightos Air Index with daily market pricing and airline-specific lane-level insights including data on customer price sensitivity, how soon before departure customers book or cancel freight, origin and destination and other market trends.

The data means airlines can optimise revenue and have greater visibility of customer behaviour so they can adjust surcharges, services and more.

One of the dashboard’s key features is the look to book ratio, which optimises pricing based on how often potential customers who see an offer book it, providing visibility into how customers consider factors such as price, transit time, weight-break or brand loyalty when making bookings.

Manel Galindo, CEO of WebCargo says that airlines have often been in the dark about broader industry behaviour so Airline Dashboard will transform their ability to optimise pricing and balance yield and volume.
