WFS uses CHAMP Cargospot in France

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is continuing its digital transformation by using CHAMP Cargosystems’ Cargospot Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution in France.

At the end of 2021, the two companies signed the contract to use Cargospot for WFS’s operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

In France, Cargospot will be used at cargo terminals in Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Mulhouse, Montpellier, Marseille, Nice, Nantes, Strasbourg, and Toulouse.

The migration includes the Cargospot Mobile app for smartphones and tablets, removing manual processes and paperwork from cargo handling.

WFS teams and customers will receive faster access to real-time data and greater visibility such as up-to-date status information measured against key milestones agreed in respective customer Service Level Agreements.

Pedro Garcia, Group Chief Information Officer at WFS, says, “By investing to replace paper-based processes, we are enabling our teams of cargo handling professionals to focus on our main priorities of safety, security, and operational excellence.”

Nicholas Xenocostas, VP Commercial and Customer Engagement at CHAMP Cargosystems, adds, “We continue to enhance our services with a key focus on operational efficiency in the warehouse, enabling increased collaboration between key stakeholders at airports further increasing WFS’ relations with its customers.”
