The airline will operate 3 Boeing 777 Freighter flights a week to Miami from Shanghai Pudong International Airport with WFS being awarded a 3-year contract to handle its cargo, which will include e-commerce, perishables, seafood and general cargo.
When the service starts in January, it will be the first service to Miami International Airport by a Chinese airline.
WFS has supported China Cargo in Los Angeles since 2006, where it now handles 18 freighter services a week for the airline.
It has been supporting China Cargo in New York since November 2022 when the airline launched cargo services to John F. Kennedy International Airport, where it now operates 7 flights a week.
The partnership extends to Seattle, a technical stop for China Cargo flights.
WFS provides ground handling services for more than 20 flights per week between Shanghai Pudong and Seattle as well as an extra 30-50 charter services annually during the peak season for cherry exports.
