Airlines Europe
Lorenzo Stoll, Head of Cargo at Swiss International Air Lines is standing down after three years in the role and 11 years with the airline.

He will leave the company at the end of July to take up the position of CEO at a Swiss-based healthcare company.

SWISS is searching for a new Head of Cargo.

As Head of Cargo, Stoll guided the airfreight division through challenging times including the Covid-19 pandemic, keeping Switzerland’s air links open.

Stoll joined SWISS in 2013 as the Head of Western Switzerland where he oversaw the turnaround of its Geneva-based business and operations, making it profitable and creating over 200 new local positions.

Markus Binkert, Chief Financial Officer of SWISS praised Stoll’s leadership of Swiss WorldCargo during the pandemic, saying he left the airfreight division in a strong position.

He says, “With his vision and his perspective, Lorenzo has set key processes in motion within our airfreight organisation that will enable even greater and more permanent use to be made of the various cargo synergies within the Lufthansa Group. I offer Lorenzo my deepest thanks for all his energies and endeavours on behalf of our company, and I wish him every further success and satisfaction in his new challenges ahead.”
